A record produced by the checks themselves
Anybody can say a website is accessible, fast and monitored. The question a lawyer, funder, insurer or enterprise customer actually asks is what you can show them, and the answer is usually nothing.
Where the numbers come from
Each figure in the record is emitted by the check that produced it, at the moment it ran, against the site as published. A person assembling a report afterwards would be writing a summary of something nobody can verify.
- Accessibility findings come from the test run, per route.
- Performance figures are field measurements from real visits.
- Certificate expiry, open advisories and consent counts come from the systems that hold them.
Kept and archived
Reports are versioned and archived, so a year of them is a history you can hand over. A business under audit needs a continuous history, and a year of monthly emails in a former employee’s inbox is not one.
